Donna Brazile has served twice as acting chair of the Democratic National Committee, and over a 40-year career in presidential campaigns, she’s gained a unique perspective in what candidates and the national party watch for in Colorado. And in today’s episode of “Colorado Chamber Office Hours,” I talk with her about the state’s place in the greater political landscape, the rising stars coming from here and the way she believes Democrats should be talking about business issues.
Brazile, who will be the keynote speaker at the Colorado Chamber of Commerce’s Oct. 8 annual meeting — the same event at which I’ll moderate a discussion between gubernatorial candidates Victor Marx and Phil Weiser — discusses just how “blue” a state Colorado has become. And she opines that the Democratic Socialists of America movement within her party that is capturing so much national attention represents just a small portion of Democratic voices and should not be considered the only voice when it comes to business issues.
